Rashmi Barbhaiya
CEO and Managing Director
Dr. Barbhaiya is an internationally
reputed Pharma executive
having extensive global
experience in handling
diverse aspects of drug
discovery and development.
He has held several prestigious
positions in leading pharmaceutical
companies and brings along
an impeccable history
in R&D operations
and a successful background
in business development
and deal making. Past
offices held by Dr. Barbhaiya
include President of Research
and Development, Ranbaxy
Research Laboratories,
New Delhi, India and Vice
President in the Pharmaceutical
Research Institute, Bristol-Meyers
Squibb. In his 21 years
with BMS and 2 ½
years with Ranbaxy, Dr.
Barbhaiya has been instrumental
in discovery and development
of numerous new drugs
and drug delivery products.
Over his career, Dr. Barbhaiya
has authored numerous
publications (about 150)
covering a broad range
of therapeutic areas.
He obtained his PhD degree
in Clinical Pharmacology
from the St. Bartholomew's
Hospital Medical College,
University of London and
combined his education
through post-doctoral
training at the University
of Florida and University
of Wisconsin.

Dr. Sohoni was the Managing Director, Rallis India Ltd and a member of the Board of Directors of Advinus. An experienced executive with over 40 years’ in MNCs in India and USA including over 30 years’ at General Management levels of Agrochemical and Pharmaceuticals businesses of Pharmacia India, Novartis India, Biosys Inc, California, with a proven record for ensuring growth, building successful teams, meeting established goals and increasing profits.

Homi R Khusrokhan
Director
Mr. Khusrokhan worked with the Ford Motor Company in the UK for 3 years and thereafter the Glaxo Group in India. He was Country Head & Managing Director from 1996 to 2000. Under his stewardship the Companies saw considerable growth and received various awards including that of the Most Respected Company in India in the 1999 Business World Survey.
Mr. Khusrokhan was very active in Industry Affairs. He joined the Tata Group as Managing Director of Tata Tea after his retirement from Glaxo in 2001 and in 2004 joined the Board of Tata Chemicals Limited as an Executive Director in charge of Strategy and New Business Areas. He took charge of Tata Chemicals as Managing Director in October 2006. The Company has seen significant growth during his tenure both in its traditional businesses and in new business areas and is today the world’s second largest Soda Ash Company.
Mr. Kishor A. Chaukar
Director
Mr. Kishor A. Chaukar (59), currently the Managing Director of Tata Industries Limited (TIL),
is a post-graduate in Management from the Indian Institute of Management at Ahmedabad. TIL is one of the two principal holding companies of the Tata Group,
India’s largest and best-known conglomerate. Mr. Chaukar is also a member of the Group Corporate Centre,
which is engaged in strategy formulation at the House of Tata. He is on the Board of various companies like Tata Teleservices Limited,
Videsh Sanchar Nigam Limited, Tata Autocomp Systems Limited, Tata Investment Corporation Limited, among others.
He also oversees the functions of the Department of Economics & Statistics (DES) and the Tata Credit Card.
Mr. Chaukar is also the Chairman of Tata Council for Community Initiatives (TCCI) –
the nodal agency of the Group on all matters related to social development, environmental management,
bio-diversity restoration and conservation of wild life.
Mr. Chaukar was previously the Managing Director of ICICI Securities & Finance Company Limited (July 1993 to October 1998),
and a member of the Board of Directors of ICICI Limited from February 9, 1995 to October 15, 1998).
His other experiences include stints in Bhartiya Agro Industries Foundation, a Public
Trust engaged in rural development on a no-profit no-loss basis and based in Pune, Maharashtra, and Godrej Soaps Limited.
