Fair Practices
Besides the Tata code of conduct (TCoC), a comprehensive set of tenets that all employees have to adhere to, the Advinus have some company policies to ensure that their enterprises and people adhere to the highest ethical standards.
1. Sexual Harassment Policy
- Zero-tolerance for sexual harassment
- We value every single employee working at Advinus and wish to protect their dignity
- We are determined to promote a working environment in which persons of both sexes work to complement each other as equals, and an environment that encourages maximum productivity
To comply with the TATA Code of Conduct – Clause on Equal Opportunities Employer:
“A TATA company shall provide equal opportunities to all its employees and all qualified applicants for employment, without regard to their race, caste, religion, color, ancestry, marital status, sex, age, nationality, disability and veteran status. Employees of a Tata company shall be treated with dignity and in accordance with the Tata policy to maintain a work environment free of sexual harassment.”
2. Whistle Blower Policy
- Advinus believes in the conduct of its affairs in a fair and transparent manner by adopting highest standards of
professionalism, honesty, integrity and ethical behavior
- Advinus has committed to follow the Tata Code of Conduct, which lays down the principles and standards that should govern the actions of Tata Companies and their employees
- Any actual or potential violation of the Code, howsoever insignificant or perceived as such, would be a matter of serious concern for the Group
- The role of the employees in pointing out such violations of the Code cannot be undermined. There is a provision under the Code requiring employees to report violations
3. Policy on Receiving & Giving Gifts
- Advinus employees shall neither receive nor offer or make, directly or indirectly, any illegal payments, remuneration, gifts, donations or comparable benefits which are intended to or perceived to obtain business or competitive favors for the conduct of its business
- To comply with the TATA Code of Conduct – Clause on “Gifts and Donations”
- However, a Tata Company and its employees may accept and offer nominal gifts which are customarily given and are of
commemorative nature for special events”
